Hi Everyone,

Aloha United Way is the leading not-for-profit agency in Honolulu, providing crucial funding and services for over 250 partner agencies in our community.  These agencies help the needy, the ill, and the impoverished, including people ranging from children to senior citizens.  These agencies help to make the community in which we live a better place.  Many organizations that you’re familiar with – the American Red Cross, Prevent Child Abuse Hawaii, Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Child and Family Services and the YMCA to name a few, are the beneficiaries of the Aloha United Way contributions.  Your donations can be directed to these partner agencies or left to AUW to distribute at the discretion of its board. 

I’ve been involved with the Aloha United Way for 27 years and I believe strongly in the vital work that this organization does in our community.  AUW and its member agencies benefit one of every two people in the State of Hawaii – I’ve benefited from these agencies myself in the past. 

Contributing to AUW is completely voluntary.  The monetary success of the campaign is important, but far more important is our individual participation in our community.  I kindly ask that each of you consider making a contribution to AUW – the amount is not important.  Our contributions to the community have a great impact on the lives of many people in need and may directly or indirectly affect you and your loved ones. 

I hope you find it easier to utilize this new online platform as we forego the need to submit hard copy forms. 

This year’s campaign deadline will be Friday, August 29, 2025.  If you contributed through Brown & Brown last year and would like to know your previous year’s contribution, please contact Terry Sasano directly.
